On August 1, 2021, the two renowned tax consulting firms PWF from Wiehl in the Bergisches Land region and Ufer & Uebach from Freudenberg merged to form the new company BERGZWEI.

The merger of the firms will strengthen the service portfolio for demanding clients. In particular, the business areas of auditing, annual financial statements/business taxes, financial accounting as well as tax and business consulting will be expanded through the merger.

The focus will be on serving medium-sized family-owned and industrial companies, corporate groups, private individuals, freelancers and public-sector enterprises: "Thanks to the greater woman and man power, we will be able to provide our clients with even more comprehensive, responsive and intensive support in the future - across all phases of their business. This is crucial for success, especially in complex tax and accounting issues," says Natalie Riske, tax consultant and partner at BERGZWEI.

In addition, the larger pool of employees enables an even better matching of people and projects as well as an expansion of the competence network.

BERGZWEI also attaches particular importance to increasing digitalization: "As a digitally positioned professional services firm, we can already offer our clients outstanding service. We would like to expand this even further in the future," says auditor and tax consultant Harald Partmann.

The fact that BERGZWEI has regional roots with its locations in the Bergisches Land region and in Freudenberg is not only reflected in the name, which makes direct reference to its origins. Both branches will continue to operate unchanged after the merger. Clients will continue to be able to reach their familiar contact persons.
